Reminds me of my favorite cologne ad ever. Found it in a Newsweek or Time several years ago in Opelika’s legendary Garage Sale Store.
While we’re at, feel free to describe the Auburn coed of the 70s. What are they wearing? What color? Shoes? Shirts? Nail polish? Cigarettes? Brand specific. What about the dudes?
If we talk about cigarettes , in 1970 Salem Cigarettes was a very famous brand .It’s commercial made smoking cool. This ad has a lovely springtime picture made in the woods, with a man, woman, and a dog. Later Cigarette ads were banned in the US in 1972. I was young at that time & but i can recall that my father also used this brand.
